When I tried to add cpaoaddin.dll, nothing happens. I went to Tools, Trust
Center, Add-ins, Manage, COM Add-ins, Go, tic the box and navigateed to and
selected "cpaoaddin.dll" in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12.
Calendar Printing Assistant add-in did not appear on the Add-Ins available
list. I am running on a 64 bit machine.

you don't need to add it - running the installation will do what needs to be done.

You don't start it from outlook- you load it from the start menu, its under the office folder.

I didn't fully explain my problem. I installed CPAO and opened it, but got
an error message that it cannot be connected with Outlook 2007. After many
days of help from someone more tech savvy than me, I ran the regsvr32 command
and got it working, but only once. It stopped working when I restarted my
computer and even running the regsvr32 command doesn't help anymore. I'm
trying to find a way to manually update the addin entry to CPAO and get it
working. However, I can't select it with the com add-ins.

Did you try running office diagnostics in Outlook? Uninstalling the CPA,
rebooting and reinstalling it?

Oh, and what type of windows account do you use? Try running it as admin.

Did all that. The problem may have something to do with using 64bit
operating system. The CPAO registry information is in WOW6432node and
somehow CPAO is not reading it or something...
