Blank replies from Lotus Notes email account users - any ideas?

On many occasions when I send emails to people who have Lotus Notes, the
reply I receive simply has my original email message and none of their text.
This always happens when I send attachments but often when there is no
attachment. When the same people send me new emails (ie not replies to mine),
there's never any problems. And the rare occasions when I access my email
remotely, eg via Webmail1and1, the replies from those people (even if
replying to a mail I sent earlier in Outlook with an attachment) always come
through ok. But that's not a solution as, when I'm in Outlook at my desk (ie
for 95% of my work), the emails from those people will always come down from
the server along with all my other email - and once they've done that, I
can't get at them via Webmail1and1 to see what they said. Any ideas? -
