Outlook Suddenly Can't Access Hotmail Account

Has anyone else had this problem. I try to receive emails within Outlook and
I am asked to type in my password. It won't connect even though when I type
the same password on the hotmail website, I have no probem entering.

Is anyone having the same issue?

Does anyone know where I can go on the Microsoft website to learn when there
are issues with Hotmail?

I am haveing same issue. When opened, Outlook 2003 prompts me for my Hotmail
password, which I enter and click save. However, when I click OK, the same
prompt immediately appears. And so the cycle begins. i have been searchign
newsgroups and Outlook 2003 troubleshoot's but haven't found any specific fix
for my problem. I use both Mozilla FF and IE7 and BOTH browsers are allowing
hotmail.com and msn.com as cookie sites. Let me know if anybody has another
diagnosis and hopefully a succussful fix. Thanks.

I found out the answer. It's so easy (and silly of MSFT) that it's
embarrassing. You need to make sure you are signed into the MSN network.

On top somewhere you'll see a login prompt.
