OE - can't see messages

Shortly after downloading two updates from MS my OE became very slow and I
was unable to easily see my email messages. OE seems to be creating an
attachment for all typewritten messages that I can access through Interent
Exp with an address of C:\Documents and Settings\... I checked to be sure
the font was Western ISO and I deleted all temp internet files as suggested
by an MS user. Any other suggestions??
