How are you notified an email has been successfully recalled?

The only message I have received regarding my message recall is a note that says: "You are now viewing this message in the Internet zone. You attempted to recall this message on..." I clicked delete in the message toolbar and the message disappeared from my Sent Items folder. It wasn't in my deleted items folder either. Does that mean the message was successfully recalled?

In an Exchange environment, you get either a Recall Succeeded or Recall Failed notification.
