Outlook 2003. When I open the outlook data folder in Documents and
Settings/Local settings, I see six pst files: Outlook.pst, Outlook0.pst,
Outlook1.pst, Outlook2.pst, Outlook3.pst and OBP6-Outlook.pst.

I notice that when I backup, only the Outlook3.pst file and the
OBP6-Outlook.pst files are copied. Can I delete the others?

What is the OBP6-Outlook.pst file for?

Open Control Panel and start the Mail applet. Click Show Profiles. Make
sure there is only one there, if you haven't deliverately created more than
one. Select it and click Properties. Click Data Files. Look to see which
PSTs Outlook expects to use. You can delete the others if you want, but I
wouldn't. I'd move them to another folder and check their contents in
Outlook to see if they contain anything of value. If they don't, then you
can get rid of them.

Thanks Brian, I'll give it a try.
