My address book has gone up in smoke. My account name no longer appears in
the From: slot when writing a new email. I have to choosed from all the names
that appear in my contact list.

Outlook was fine as an email application. I dont need all these bells and
whistles that simply screw things up.

How can i get and install a simple version of Outlook Express.

Outlook Express is probably already on your machine. Look for MSIMN.EXE,
that's OE.

What version of Outlook are you trying to use now anyway?

Thanks a lot, Vince. As you said Outlook Express is on this computer. I had
been led into Outlook 2003 which has too many bells and whistles for my
purposes. I have now switched back to Outlook Express and all is well with
the world - I think! I hope!

Peace, T W Flynn
