Hotmail vs. Outlook.com

Any switched to Outlook.com from hotmail? What are the comparisons of
the two. Any reason to switch? I keep getting messages about
Outlook.com and wanted to see what others, who have tried it, thinks.

You don't have to migrate your Hotmail account. You could create a
wholly new Outlook.com account and see for yourself without losing your
old Hotmail account. I've got Hotmail, Live, and Outlook.com accounts
and none were migrated or linked together. They're all separate.
