When I send emails to multiple recipients, I would like to address them to
one person and blind copy the rest in order to avoid sharing other people's
addresses. Is there a setting for this?

No, you'd need to add the others in the BCC field yourself.

Sperrysoftware.com has their Always Bcc add-on to do that. It is not a
feature hardcoded into Outlook. It is something added by more code
included in an add-on that you install and runs with Outlook.
