In Outlook 2003, is it possible to use search folders in other mailboxes. I
have access to several other mailboxes, one of which has a number of filters
set-up. It would be helpful if for example, I could utilize the "Unread
Mail" search folder to see all of the unread mail in that mailbox.
Otherwise, I am afraid I might miss some. There are also several other
helpful search folders that I would like to use.

Log into that other mailbox as the user or have the user do it. Set up any
search folders you want using that logon. Then make sure you are opening the
delegate mailbox as part of your Outlook profile, not by using the File
menu. The search folders in that delegate mailbox will be available to you
and will work. They might be a bit slow in updating, but it will work.

Ken,
Thanks for your help. It looks like you're describing what I am trying to
do but I'm not sure how to open the mailbox as part of my Outlook profile.
Can you please explain that step.

Tools, Email Accounts. Select View or Change Existing Email Accounts and
click Next. Select your Exchange account and click Change. Click the More
Settings button. Go to the Advanced tab, click the Add button at the top.
Enter the alias for that mailbox. OK your way out of the dialogs and exit
and restart Outlook.
