New Microsoft Outlook - e-mails not coming through

Hi, had computer expert load Office 07, great! E-mails were coming in thru
Outlook Express so came online here, tried Brian T's advice e-mails were
coming through on Outlook Express. Removed my account from it. Sent test
message through Microsoft Outlook. Still no e-mals through MIcrosoft Outlook.
Also, system telling me to enter network password. It is a home computer. I
used to just click to cancel, and that worked. Not this time. So I put in
password but would rather not.
does this have something to do with e-mails not coming through, any help
appreciated!
