Outlook Archive pst folders are current for mail

Hi

I have a problem with my archive folders.

I have had my archive folders in my folder list for some time. However the
mail archive folders are acting as my current folders, and the inbox
receives all my new mail.

Further down the list I have a main folder "Outlook Today" - [Personal
Folders] and the subfolders are named the same as in the archive folders
above, and in here is contained my active calendar and contacts file.

Please can anyone tell me how to stop the archive folders behaving as
current folders.
