I am having multiple problems with using my Hotmail account in Outlook and just discovered that I have six different pst files. Is there a way to completely remove my account and the pst files from Outlook and start over again. I tried to delete the Hotmail account but when I added it back in it picked up an old pst file.
Thanks, Poz3614

you can delete the pst files -
http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/filepath.htm

when you make a new profile, use a new name for the profile. do not let
outlook use the same name as the last profile used.

Thanks. I've been using the same name in my profile. That's probably the problem.

I created a new account using a different user name. I made this account my default, but when I open Outlook there are two account folders, one named Personal Folder that has my old email ending on Dec. 17, 2007. The other is below the Personal Folder, is titled myn...@hotmail.com and has my latest emails. I want only one profile shown. How do I get rid of the other?
