You can send a Fax via Email to a Fax machine, if you use a Fax extension
(Adddin) for Outlook.

You can send a fax message through Outlook if you have integrated one of the
supported fax transports into your Outlook profile. By definition, a fax
message is not an email.

Or if the user decides to pay for outbound faxing services that accept
e-mails for input, like eFax.

If your fax machine has an email address, sure. If you have fax software
and a fax modem installed on your computer, sure )(sort of). Is you
subscribe to a fax service like myfax.com, sure.
