Hi,
Recenly I changed my machine at work and when I logged on
I had to configure outlook for my personal profile to pull
all the e-mails from the server. When I was setting up the
options I have forgotten to tick the option .use intenet e-
mail. I mean when installing I did not configure for
internet e-mail option. So now if I go to
tools>services>add option I only get 1.microsoft exchange
server 2. personl forlders and 3.personal address book
options, but I do not get an INTERNET EMAIL option which I
now need to set up a POP3 account. I am not sure how to
get this option again without having to re-install outlook
2000. Please let me know if any of you know the answer.
Any help in the matter is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Satish

You can press the Add... button to install an extra account. Here you can
choose to add an Internet E-mail account

As an aside, you really shouldn't try to use Internet mail and Exchange in
the same profile in Outlook 2000 - it will lead to mail delivery problems
eventually that you will not be able to fix. It isn't an MS supported
configuration. I'd set up separate profiles or upgrade to a newer version of
Outlook/Office.

Hi Satish,

Have you read Lanwench's reply? Separate profiles is indeed a better way to
go here. This way you'll keep your mails separate as. The support POP3 and
Exchange combination in one profile is a lot better in Outlook 2002 and
Outlook 2003.
