flags don't integrate into the calendar or tasks

I don't get why you'd have the flags if you'd need to jsut happen to see the
address book entry. Doesn't the flag show up when you say call the 25th? does
it show up somewhere other than if you just happen to see the address book
entry?

you need to add the flag field to the view to see them.

How would I add the flag to the view to see them. I take it I would go to
Calendar- which I did - then to view- but I could not find anything that said
show flags. Thank you for your prompt response and so sorry that it does not
appear intuitive to me.
It does show up on the contact file -just not on the calendar
