We believe we have identified a bug in Outlook 2002/XP or related security
patches(and not confirmed but probably in Outlook 2003) where Outlook
displays a paperclip on an email that has inline embedded images (Insert -
picture command) when there are NO file attachments on the email. It appears
that Outlook mistakenly displays the paperclip based on MIME parts that are
in line images.
This bug does not occur on Outlook 2000. Nor in any other mail clients
tested such as Netscape 7.1.
This bug is confusing our users. We want to know if there is a service pack,
or a hot fix or a configuration change that will prevent this behavior in
Outlook Inbox display
