I would like to be able to go the my documents folder directly from the
outlook navigation pane. There is a section for shortcuts but I don't seem
to be able to set up the shortcut in that field. I am using Office 2003. Any
help would be appreciated.

Outlook no longer supports document browsing. You can add a shortcut, but it
will open in Windows Explorer. Drag any folder from Windows Explorer to
Shortcuts to create a shortcut.
