That was not my question!

Wanted to know how to view them in, i.e. inside, the actual email

Outlook will always show attachments as attachments and not in the Reading
Pane. If you want to see them in the Reading Pane then your senders must
compose the messages in Rich Text or HTML and embed the images in the
message.

If that's what you want and all you need is a mail client. Outlook is much
more than just a mail client.
