In Outlook 2000, I'd like to move junk and adult email automatically to junk
or adult folders, respectively. I have the junk and adult email filters
turned on through Organizer, but messages are moved solely on the basis of
the junk or adult senders list, not on content.

I should be able to move based on the content, as described in "filters.txt"
at the Outlook 2000 update site. I do have junk and adult rules in place,
with the block checked via the Rules Wizard. But I cannot confirm the
properties of those rules. And in any event, nothing is moved based on
content.

Can someone please explain what I'm doing wrong or what additional file(s) I
must download from somewhere. Thanks in advance.

Best, Ted

Hi

Can you create a rule which is based on content and specific words in the
body, then move or delete it permanently.

Yes, but it would take days to create all the rules necessary to mirror all
the content items in "fixture.txt". Besides, according to Help, Outlook 2000
supposedly installs with the necessary rules enabled.

try checking which setting you have in tools options on
the preferences tab choose junk e-mail options, try
the 'high' setting instead of 'low'?
