Undisclosed recipients

In Outlook Express one can put the recipients in BCC and leave the TO
field blank. The message
goes out with "Undisclosed recipients" as the recipient. Outlook, on
the other hand, will accept a
blank and puts nothing as recipient. Since many people are put off by
a blank To field, is there any to
mimic what OE does? My intent is to send email to club members
without disclosing all their email
addresses.

Nope. Outlook leaves it blank.

What you can do is do a Mail Merge rather than BCCing the recipients. Search
Help for 'Mail Merge' for the steps. That way everyone gets a message addressed
just to themselves.

Another thing that you can do is create a new Contact in Outlook, naming it
Ed's Club Members, use an email address that you want club members to reply
to. Add that to the TO: Line, and still put the club members emails
addresses in the BCC: Line.

I would also add a phrase in the Subject Line:, so that you can create a
rule based on the Subject: Line, that will place these newsletters in a
separate folder, when its sent back to you. Or you just have the rule to
delete the message if you are already saving the original message in the
SentItems or another folder in Outlook.
