Hello,

It doesn't appear that I can setup a Rule or an Out of
Office Reply that would reply to an Internet e-mail
address every time when the Outlook client is closed. We
are using an Outlook 2003 Client and Exchange 5.5.

What I am trying to accomoplish - User A from Company A
sends multiple messages to User B at Company B, who has an
Out of Office Reply setup, User A will only get one Out of
Office Reply message. Unless User B sets up a Client Rule
in the Rules Wizard AND keeps the client open all the time.

Is this assessment accurate. If not, please tell me how
to set it up so that if User A sends multiple emails via
the internet to an Outlook/Exchange user (User B), User A
will get an Out of Office reply for each message that they
send to User B at Company B.

Hope I haven't confused anybody.

YOu haven't confused anyone, but Outlook just doesn't work that way. The
reason is the situation you describe can all too easily lead to endless mail
loops.
