just upgraded to IE 7 , now I am unable to receive mail via MS Outlook.
When ever I test it, everything passed, but when I try to receive mail it
crashes.

Not without any specific details. At least include the exact error as viewed
on screen and logged in the Event Viewer, version of Outlook and type of
mail account.
