Depends whether you mean a pst or mail password

It's just a password for the Inbox - does that help?

When do you see this password prompt and what is the exact title in the blue
title bar? Is there any text at all in the pop up? If so, exactly what
does it say?

You might try this tool
http://www.securiteam.com/tools/6G00B1F0AS.html
However if some other person used OL, and set this password, do you actually
need the mail & data contained?
If not, with OL closed (of course :)) use the mail applet in the control
panel to add a new data file, remove the old data file. Then open OL
