Hi All,

Is there a way to make Google the default search engine in Outlook (using
the 2003 version here) when clicking the "Search The Web" button next to the
address bar? All I can make work is Yahoo Search, MSN, etc, but not Google.

Thanks,
Tom

I believe you would have to set the following registry keys.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]

"Search Page"="http://www.google.com"

"Search Bar"="http://www.google.com/ie"

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL]

""="http://www.google.com/keyword/%s"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search]

"SearchAssistant"="http://www.google.com/ie"

Note: This is also going to effect Internet Explorer.
