Plain text signature in Outlook 2007

We are now pilot testing Outlook 2007 for corporate deployment. We use
automatically generated, standardized signature built from Active Directory
data. The signatures are created in HTML format. Under Outlook 2003, when a
user would reply to a message received in plain text format, and they
responded, Outlook would automatically generate and attach a plain text
signature based upon the HTML signature. Outlook 2007 does not appear to do
that. If the message is in Plain Text, no signatures are available to insert.

What can be done? I do not have the option of forcing plain text formatting
across the board, and I have no way of automatically generating a plain text
based signature in addition to the HTML based signature.

generate a plain text (and RTF)
based signature based on your HTML, and deploy across the board to
Outlook/OWA clients (in mixed environment) - without installing
anything on servers/clients as deployment is data base driven.

I appreciate your input, but I am trying to resolve this woithout acquiring
any additional software. If that is the answer, that is the answer, but I
need to see if there is any alternative.
