Help!

When I try to open Outlook it keeps asking me to create a new profile and
prompts me for a profile name. I hit cancel and then I get an error that
says 'no profiles have been created. To create a new profile, use the Mail
icon in the Control Panel.' Then I hit OK and it says 'cannot start
Microsoft Office Outlook. Unable to open the Outlook window. The server is
not available. Contact your administrator if this condition persists.'

What I did today was download the trial version of MS OneNote 2003. In
using it I was in the PERSONAL folder under MY NOTEBOOK (I think that's what
it's called) and used the TRAVEL tab. When I chose to CLOSE it (not thinking
it would DELETE the project I was working on) everything disappeared. Under
HELP I chose something about repair/restoring and then chose to to restore to
original without saving customizations.

Is this what deleted my profile? My Outlook with all my
INBOX/CALENDAR/NOTES/TASKS etc is gone. When I create a new profile none of
my stuff is there.

You may have lost your profile but you did not lose your information. All
your information is in a pst file (assuming you are not using an exchange
server). If you do not know where you were storing it, do a search of your
hard drive and then when you are in Outlook you can open it and drag the
info into your new pst. Another option is to go into your profile and under
data file add the pst that was you old file and make it your default and
delete the new file.

I don't know what to call my new profile. I never had to SET UP a profile
before, so what was the original one called?
