When I try to send larger files through outlook it either doesn't send or it
repeatedly sends without leaving the outbox. I have had messages send 400
times to people and it still doesn't show in the outbox.

Hello
I think problem belongs to the antivirus program, because it scans the
outgoing mail too long. Test it by disabling it (sometimes under extras
options antivirusprog or denpending on the programm in the optiosn of the
Antivirus programm)

Thanks for your reply but I have already disabled Anti virus for outgoing
messages. I have also increased the time out for the server and for send and
recieve. This seems to have improved the problem as I now recieve a message
in my sent items but it continues to send multiple copies. I have also done
an update for virus', trojuns, worms etc.....
Am at a total loss so I would very much appreciate your feedback! Thank
you! :)

How large are the files? It could be the mail server has a limit and
is stripping the attachment prior to sending the message. Check with
you mail server admin or consider using FTP :-)
