Hi CobraNick,

I think the easiest way is, to click on the "Top of Personal Folder", this
is normally the "Outlook Today" folder.

Right mouseclick/Properties of Outlook Today

Click here on "Homepage" and deactivate the flag "Homepage of this
folder....."

Now click on "apply" and close the "properties" window.

You can see all items, that are stored in this folder and you can move the
email to another folder.

To get back the Outlook Today page, select the flag again under: Right
mouseclick/Properties of Outlook Today

Click here on "Homepage" and activate the flag again.

Maybe it helps.

regarding this issue

A user I assist has misplaced lots of emails. When we perform a search we see that those emails are in the "top of personal folder" location.

I disabled the "homepage" feature but only 5 emails were shown, and lots are still missing. Search still indicates that those emails are in the "top of personal folders location"

Could you please help me?

Regards!!

BTW: It's for outlook 2002

Did you do this on the client itself? You can also move them from the Find
window.

Yeah the thing is that when he moves an email to a folder in a PST, that email goes straight to the "Top of personal folder" (which I understand as begin the root of the PST) instead of staying in the specified folder.

Thanks

He is dragging and dropping them from the inbox.

I was just talking to him, we managed to find the lost emails, I believe that it was sort of a misunderstanding and that he was misplacing the emails himself...

So far so good... the problem seems solved, thanks for your help!!
