RE: Outlook in Win XP Pro is deleting messages upon reading

I can't get to "current view" in the "view" menu. This sub-menu just isn't
there. I tried resetting the menus but the "current view" sub-menu doesn't
appear.

A couple more things you can try:

Add the advanced toolbar under View, Toolbars. You should be able to change
the view from that toolbar, it will offer you a dropdown menu of views.

Close Outlook, rename the outcmd.dat file to outcmd.dat_old and then restart
Outlook.

Close Outlook, and open it using the /cleanviews switch (start, run, type
in: outlook.exe /cleanviews or outlook /cleanviews)
