Hi friends,

i have been using MS Outlook 2003 for quite some time now. For the last 2
days, I am receiving a strange message as under:

Task 'KND - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the
server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server
administrator or Internet service provider (ISP). The server responded: +OK
1634107 octets follow.'

I havent changed any settings for email accounts etc. in Outlook.
Furthermore, my colleagues with same settings and the same domain settings
are able to send and receive their emails without any problems whatsoever.
What is more surprising is that I am still able to send out emails as normal.
But, receiving is an issue.

I am tried many options and have gone through the help also, but, all has
been of no use so far.

I request all of you to extend your best possible help.

Thanks in anticipation !!

Regards,

Nitin

Disable your Anti Virus incoming and outgoing scanning and test. Post back with result.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for your suggestion.

I had already tried this option with no success earlier. Please suggest some
alternative remedy.

Regards,

Nitin

Dear Nitin,
I have encountered the same problem, also for the past two days. My email
account settings have not changed. I only receive the error message for two
of three of my incoming mail addresses. The third still appears to work. This
suggests to me that it is not one particular email address/server but rather
an Outlook issue. I, too, will await responses from the group.
Thanks to all,
Erin
