Using HTML (don't know if that makes a difference) I send emails, but the
line spacing is off. When I hit return ONCE (single space) it looks like a 1
1/2 or 2 line spacing. When I hit return TWICE (double space) it looks like
4 line spacing. How can I change this?

Word is your editor? It's how it handles HTML spacing. You'll need to edit
the styles in Word.

BTW - HTML's <p> tag (paragraph tag) typically gives the effect of double
spacing / hitting enter twice, so the behavior of word is correct.

I've sent test emails to myself and they "look" differently spaced than they
usually do (I have a new laptop and that's where it looks weird; my desktop
looks and works perfectly fine).
