How can I use Outlook with MSN Hotmail?

Just switched to MSN Windows Live, and STILL can't send emails via Outlook.

Diane,

Thanks for getting back to me. I don't know whether I do or not. When I
signed up with MSN 2 years ago, they told me it wouldn't work. But I just
switched to MSN's new Windows Life program and want to see whether it might
be available now. How do I configure it?

Go to Tools, Accounts - do you see the hotmail acct listed. If so, does it
say "MAPI" or "HTTP" to the right of the acct name?
