how do I turn off the function that highlights any changes I make

Everytime I forward an email and I make any changes to the existing text, it
highlights it in a blue colour. Then i have to go about changing it back to
black. Could you please let me know how do I turn this function off?

Tools-> Options-> Email Options-> disable "Mark my comments with"
In addition, switch to Plain Text or change your Reply/Forward color to
black.
