What version of Outlook? What view in your Navigation Pane are you using?
Can you include a screen shot?

Hi Brian...no I can't send a screenshot, it's my classroom computer. I'm
using Outlook Web Access -Exchange Server (2003). I tried different views and
nothing worked but I did figure out that I only have this problem on my new
Dell. Do you think it is some security issue?

In Outlook Web Access you should see a Navigation Pane along the left side,
with your Exchange mailbox under the "Folders" title, the various "Go To"
buttons at the bottom of that, your Inbox (or whatever folder you have open)
in the middle, and your Preview Pane (if it's enabled) on the right (or it
could be at the bottom, under the folder). What part of this display are
you naming the "folders task bar"?

What exactly have you tried?

, On the Navigation Pane, there is a 'Folders' icon at the top but you can
see the top of the names of my folders...I know they are there because the
arrow (from the mouse) turns into the hand when I go over it, but the names
do not show - I can blindly click on the area, but I want to create several
folders and I need to see them. The preview pane is enabled, when I I turn it
off I see the names of the folders blink but they disappear again. I can see
all the buttons below - Inbox, Public Folders, etc, just not my personal
folders. My sysops came in to look at it and didn't know either...they
thought it was a security issue but I didn't think so...thanks for your input
I'm still trying to figure it out! -Pia
