Hello - I have nothing in my contacts folder ... but there are a lot of
email addresses stored someplace!

These are people I have emailed or received a message from ... and when I
start to type in their name ... a list of stored emails with that first
letter appears so that I can select my choice.

My question is: Where are these email addresses stored ... is there an easy
way of transferring the lot into my contacts folder - apart from going
through them one by one and adding them/ Thank you.

These are cached addresses which you've used before. They are kept in a
nk2-file. There is no native way to copy these to your Contacts folder but
you can use Ingressor for this.

Were there previously Contacts?
Have you migrated from another system or upgraded?

DL - I am in an Organisation with 2000 staff - all on email ... in my
outlook, I have a Global Address List of all staff ... but it does not
include these addresses which I would have generated by exchanging emails
with ... there is nothing in my 'contacts.'

It's as easy to find as typing http://www.ingressor.com

;-)

It's not a free tool though.
