For Plain Text you can change it by going to Tools-> Options-> tab Mail
Format-> button Fonts...

yes, but unfortunately that will also change the size of your font for
outgoing plain text messages, as well...

No, Plain Text is Plain Text so no formatting is done when you send it. It
only appears to you that formatting has been applied so you can make it
eassier for you to read.

This suggestion is a must have. I was just issued a new laptop that is high
resolution (1400x900). It makes all the text soooo small. I just held a
ruler up to this text box I am typing. It is so small I am getting 22
characters in an inch. This is a rediculously small size to have to read,
it is almost worthy of Monte Python.

The suggestion needs to include A setting for HTML reading, replying and
authoring of emails. (no I don't want to have to do everything in Plain
Text to work around this product weakness).

In addition to the ability to enlarge the text (either by holding the cntrl
key and rolling mouse wheel, or by right clicking on the boarder of the
reading pane) there needs to be a way to enhance the size of the header.
Email address and other header data CANNOT be grown by using these
techniques.
