When I respond to a message in Outlook with the nice respond blue it
looks like a _bigger_ size in Gmail.
Additionally, when I send a message using the Gmail interface, in the
normal sanserif text it shows up as times new roman when I look at it
in Outlook.
Am I losing my mind or is there some kind of discrepancy here?
If so, does anyone know how to fix it.
Thanks in advance.
Webmail accts handle formatting slightly differently because they use the
browser to render email.

I use the default font in Gmail which I believe is HTML.
As regards Outlook, I did a few test runs: On a message that I first
sent to myself, I tinkered with responding in Calibri and in Calibri
Body and both rendered the nice, typical sized font. Yet, on a
message that I sent to someone else, received a reply, and then sent
another reply to _myself_ the font was bigger.
And here's yet another quirk: I got an email in plain text and tried
forwarding and replying to myself (I set up a response quick-style
with the same formatting as my default reply/forward) and _both_ of
them came out in plain *black*.
Is there any solution to this madness?

Thanks, Diane.
I still don't understand why my reply/forward font shows up in blue
(for the non plain-texters) but just a size or two too large.

I'm having that problem... When I send an email from gmail, the
recipient gets it in Times New Roman (despite using the default gmail
font)... a few of my friends that use Gmail also have this problem...
