I currently have an address book that was imported from Act. Now I want to
sync that address book with my blackberry but it's not working. Any ideas why?

Since Outlook doesn't have an address book, you'll have to explain this
further, being sure to include your Outlook version and exactly how you did
the import.

In Microsoft Outlook 2003, I went to tools, email accounts, and add a new
address book under directory. I then selected Act contacts as the address
book I wanted to add. Now I only see those contacts in the address book not
under contacts and I can't sync them with the blackberry

Most sync software can operate only with your default folders. Synching is
not controlled by Outlook in any way. If you want to sync with another
source, you'll have to purchase software that has the ability.
