I want to send an email to a large number of contacts - set up in a
distribution list. But I do not want all 100 contact names to apear in the
"To:" box. I want the system to go through the distribution list one name at
a time.

If possible get your list into a excel spreadsheet and then use a merge file.
You can do it using e-mail just like any other letter. I do it every week
to send out reminders through e-mail that come right off my spreadsheet.
Hope this helps.

Either put your DL in the Bcc field or create a contacts folder with the
individual addresses in it and use mail merge.
