When I receive new email Outlook 2002 is supposed to put a little mail icon in my system tray. It doesn't do that. How can I set that up? I already went into TOOLS|OPTIONS|EMAIL OPTIONS|ADVANCED and checked all the options and still I get no notification. TIA

I guess it's internet mail. I use Outlook to check my Hotmail account.

it's actually HTTP - I'm not sure that it will show notification - I have several http accounts and never get notification that I'm aware of. They aren't hotmail though -  I disabled check every xx minutes on hotmail because it times out too often.
 
do you have outlook set up to automatically check every xx minutes?
