Hi there

Is there a way to secure my Microsoft Outlook so that no one can access it
and read my emails? What are the exceptions if there is a way to
password-protect it? -- can the administrator still get into it?

Thanks

You can set Outlook to prompt for a profile and password. If you have an
Exchange Administrator, they do have the ability to access your email if the
company directs them to do so. Check your company email policy, an email
account provided by your place of business is owned by the company and not
you. The contents of your email box belongs to the company since you are
directed to do business on their behalf.
However you don't state your email environment, whether this is a private or
work email account and whether or not you're in a place of business. The
bottom line is that I'm guessing based on the fact that you've asked about an
administrator.

Logout or lock your computer when you are away from your desk.

Administrators should protect and respect your privacy. However it's quite
common that this is not technically limited but should be monitored and is
fairly easy to do so. If you suspect they don't protect/respect your
privacy; talk to HR or your manager.
