Outlook templates aren't really intended for that scenario. If Word is your email editor, a good solution would be to put the text you want to use for the reply into a QuickPart (Outlook 2007) or AutoText entry (earlier versions). In versions before Outlook 2007, if Word is not your email editor, you could use signatures instead. WIth any of these techniques, you would click Reply and then insert your boilerplate text into the reply message.
