Where is the "edit message" option in Outlook 2007?

I can't find the "edit message" option that used to allow me to add to or
edit text in a received message. Where is it?

On the Message tab, in the Actions group, click Other Actions.

Sue, in my "Other Actions" dialog box, "edit message" doesn't appear as one
of the options. Are you sure you're talking about Outlook 2007?

Yes. What Other Actions dialog box are you talking about. I am referring to the Other Action command in the Action group on an open message. Clicking it pops up a list of other commands, among them Edit MEssage.

Sue, the first time I looked at this, yes, I was looking in the right place,
and no, that option wasn't available. Now, when I look at it, the option IS
available, but it's greyed out. I assume that means the message is somehow
locked or read-only.

No message should be read-only if it's in your own mail folders. Did you try typing in the message? The Edit Message option will be disabled if the message is already open for editing.
