MS OutLook 2000 using AOL

I followed the directions for setting up Outlook 2000 from AOL. I am able to
send emails from Outlook. When an email arrives, I click on the "yes" to
open the mail, nothing happens. I have dial-up. The email does arrive in
the originial AOL email. What do I need to do? I have Windows 98?
