I'm using Windows 2000 at my job with the version of Outlook that comes with
it. When sending an attatchment it shows the file in the body of the email.
Is there a way to change it that it shows up in the subject the way it does
in XP and on other email servers such as Hotmail and Yahoo mail?

Firstly a misconception. NO version of Windows has ever come with Outlook.
It's part of Microsoft Office which is an entirely independent application.

Having answered this very question at least THREE times in this group in the
last few days - (you DID search first, didn't you?) - change your email
format from RTF to plain text or HTML.

Well it doesn't matter if it comes with it or not. That's not my point. Yes I
did a search and I changed the format and it still attatches the file in the
body.

Then the format apparently didn't really change. You might want to go into Tools | Options | Mail Format and set your default message format to HTML or plain text.
