The file OLMAPI32.dll is incompatible with Microsoft Office Outloo

I am using XP and Office2007 without Exchange. I have been using Office 2003
and upgraded to Office 2007 recently. I started receiving the above message
from Outlook.

I have removed Office 2003.
I have tried re-installing Office 2007.
I tried renaming OLMAPI32.dll to .old and running Diagnostics.
And I tried Add/Remove Programs Change and Repair.

None of these measures were successful. I would appreciate some suggestions
about what to try next.

Have you tried this...

1) Uninstall Office 2003/2007
2) Verify that the "MSOCache" folder at the root of your hard drive(s) is
gone after the uninstall of Office. If it isn't you have other Office
family products installed that you might have to uninstall.

3) Install Office 2007
4) Apply updates from Office/Windows Update to get Office current on service
packs/security fixes.

Do you get the same issue at this point?
