When using PRF files to access outlook 2003 i recieve the following prompt:

"Outlook is about to import information into your email accounts. This can
potentially modify or replace your existing email account settings. Would you
like to import the settings? (outlook will be opened after you click yes or
no?)"

Ive tried playing around with the YES / NO attributes of Default, Modify
profile etc but i still keep getting the prompt.

Even if you have logged on that PC many times before you still get the prompt.

This does not happen with Outlook XP.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the prompt?

Many Thanks

This is normal behavior in Outlook 2003. Why are you using PRF files to
access Outlook?

Thanks for that....

I guess its a feature, it just gets anoying after a while, if there is any
way to switch it off, or have a default answer each time let me know...

We use PFR files in our college as most of our users are roaming users. The
PRF files means the user does not have to set up outlook each time they
change machine. It works really well.

If you dont use a PRF file and set up a manual connection you dont get a
prompt. I guess its something we will have to live with.

Many thanks
