If I send a formatted message to a group of people and
include my address among the group, I receive the message
as Plain Text. I want to see it formatted the way I sent
it out. When I have the message open and look under the
Format menu option, Plain Text/HTML/Rich Text are all
dimmed so I can't manually make the change. Can you
please help me?

Many thanks,
Lyndie

Outlook version? Is your address stored in your Contacts folder? Are you
sending an HTML format message or RTF?

I'm using Outlook XP, my name is in the contacts list,
and the outgoing mail format is set to HTML. Does this
give you a clue? Thanks, again :)

In the Contacts folder, open the item for yourself, and double-click your
underlined email address. In the dialog that pops up, make sure the format
is set to "Let Outlook decide."
