I can see the red arrow pointing left means reply, the blue arrow pointing
right means forward, but what does the blue arrow pointing south mean?

Don't you get a tool tip when you hover the cursor over the button? Doesn't
it say "Next item"?

If you're not getting the tip, look at Tools/ Customise/ Options, or View/
Toolbars/ Customise.

No I did not get a tip, however I did find the answer to my question,
Apparently the sender of the e-mail had set her mail as "low Importance"
and that is what the blue downward pointing arrow means.
Thanks anyway.
Cheers
